Sugarcane Early Shoot Borer is one of the damaging borer pest In sugarcane. It attacks on shoots in early stage of crop. Major damage seen from 1st month to 5th month of crop growing stage.  Larva feeds in between shoot internodes. This pest can damage up to 10-15% in initial stage of crop.
